I’ve been seeing Sriracha sauce on grocery store shelves for years. Judging a book by its cover, I always assumed it wouldn’t taste good because it was unfamiliar to me. I was raised on Red Rooster. Not Sriracha. It just appeared too red. Too chunky. And for some reason I assumed it would have a bit of an aftertaste…BOY was I wrong. First off, it’s only 5 calories and it’s nothing short of amazing. It’s the perfect combination of “sweet heat”. This recipe would pair great with chicken, shrimp or ground turkey meatballs. Especially fried chicken on a Hawaiian roll with crinkle cut fries..chile…anyways.
